La serie di leghe Incoloy 800 è il risultato di anni di monitoraggio e mantenimento delle proprietà chimiche finali per resistenza alle alte temperature e resistenza all'ossidazione, alla carburazione e ad altri tipi di corrosione ad alta temperatura. Ognuna è un perfezionamento della precedente, queste leghe hanno stabilito lo standard del settore nelle applicazioni ad alta temperatura che richiedono proprietà ottimali di scorrimento e rottura. Eccellente resistenza alla corrosione in ambienti con acqua estremamente elevata fino a 500 °C e buona resistenza alla tensocorrosione.
